About us

The missing link between consumers and companies

When a company settles a class action, the money is there for the people it affected. Too often they never hear about it, or can't reach anyone when they try. Passive Action exists to close that gap.

Fillable claim forms

Filing by mail? We added typing boxes to 27 official claim forms: type your answers, add your signature if you like, print and mail. Each form is checked against the official PDF the moment you download it.

Open the forms

No account, no strings

You don't need an account to use Passive Action, and you don't need one to file. Every settlement shows its title and the key details up front, with a direct link to file on the official settlement website yourself. No marketing sign-up, no form just to see where to go.

Your privacy, your claim

Your claim belongs to you. We don't file for you, we don't stand between you and the settlement, and we don't ask for personal information in exchange for things that should be public anyway. Our privacy notice says exactly what the site keeps, which is very little.

No paywall

Everything you need to find a settlement and file a claim is free, and it stays free. A membership with extra help, such as alerts and reminders, is coming soon. It will be an option, never a gate.

Transparent about sources

Settlement details come from court records, court-approved notices and the official settlement websites, and we link to those sources so you can check them yourself. We are not a law firm, and we are not affiliated with any court, administrator, law firm or defendant.

Connecting you with the right people

Many settlements ask for a claim ID or PIN, usually sent in a notice by mail or email. If you never got yours, the settlement administrator can help. Wherever the papers name them, we show who the administrator is and how to reach them, so you can ask directly. Asking is free, and it is often all that stands between you and your payment.

Why we do this

Settlements are meant to reach the people who were affected, but the line between consumers and companies often breaks along the way. Notices go to old addresses, emails land in spam, instructions are written for lawyers. We want to be the missing link: one plain-English place that shows what is open and who can get your claim moving.
